La visite de DanO, DanO's visit 20 27 07 2009

Après un festival(de jazz de Montreux) pendant lequel DanO a bien oeuvré(comprendre qu'il a ramassé un joli pactole) une pause était nécessaire, se retrouver ailleurs. Dano a donc profité de l'opportunité pour venir passer quelques jours à Paris. Artiste de rue ce n'est pas un boulot quand on essaye de suivre la Voie du Yoga, pour ceux qui connaissent : essayer de vous imaginer dans la folie de Kao San Road pendant deux semaines 10 h voire plus par jour. De quoi péter les plombs, non ? Bref...une pause , une pause...urgence ! 11h23 ce mercredi matin, DanO est en train de la rôter...la quinzaine de folie du festival jazz. Littéralement et figurativement. Il a commencé la séance(De Yoga) vers 10h30, il en a encore pour 1/2 h plus ou moins. C'est difficile. Mais cela nettoie...Om ! Hier nous sommes allés au Père Lachaise. DanO en a exprimé le désir et comme je voulais aussi y aller depuis que je suis revenu sur Paris et bien bingo nous y sommes allés. Je n'imaginais pas à quel point c'est touristique, étonnant, non ? Comme disait Pierre Desproges, entérré là et nous sommes allés le saluer . Nous avons salué également Gilbert Bécaud, très fleuri...(on est passé par hasard devant sa tombe que nous ne cherchions pas- d'ailleurs c'est plus difficile de trouver celles que l'on cherche !)Blanqui et un autre Fédéré, Jim Morrison(pas très fleuri au contraire de ce que j'avais pu entendre), la tombe de Chopin, la plus fleurie, incroyable ! Et la seule tombe où l'on ait vu des gens se faire prendre en photos, ce que j'ai aussi fait. C'est couillon à dire mais c'est une sortie très agréable, c'est un endroit très particulier j'ai presque envie de dire...où il fait bon vivre ! Je recommande... And so DanO seized the opportunity to come over to stay a few days in Paris. Street artist is not really the right job when one tries to follow the Path of Yoga. If you know the place, just try to see yourself in Kao San Road madness for two weeks 10 hours or more every single day. Honestly this is a case to lose it, isn't it ? So, yes a break a break it's an emergency ! 11:23 am this wednesday Dan0 is sweating it out literally and figuratively...He has started the (Yoga) session at 10:30 he still has 1/2 hour give or take a few minutes. It's tough for sure but it cleanses. Om ! Yesterday we went to Père Lachaise Cemetery. Dan0 wished to go and visit it and since I had been wishing to go and see it also since I have returned to Paris so we went...I could not have guessed it was such a touristy place, big time surprise isn't it ? So would say Pierre Desproges(a famous and well liked satirical entertainer). He is buried there. We went to say hello. We went to say hello to Gilbert Bécaud too, it's by chance that we stumbled upon his grave(many flowers), it's more difficult to find the graves you want to see by the way, also to Blanqui(a 19th century anarchist) and another Federate(the Federates refer to La Commune de Paris : a revolutionary government set up in Paris from March 18th to May 28th 1871 after the Prussian siege was lifted. It was brutally put down by soldiers sent in by the Thiers government in Versailles and remains an important landmark in the history of European socialism, Jim Morrison not so many flowers as a matter of fact as it is said, Chopin's grave where I saw the most flowery, unbelievable, and the only one grave where we saw people wanting a shot next to it, which I have done. It can seem damned stupid to say that but it makes a very pleasant outing, it's a very special place and I almost feel like saying it's a place where one can spend one's days happily.
