XP, Vista, Windows Seven and GNU Linux OS

XP arrive à un point de développement vraiment top, je ne vois pas en quoi il ne serait pas fiable, de plus un nombre incalculable de logiciels gratuits sont accessibles qui font de XP un bon outil, un outil au point.
J'ai eu l'occasion de passer beaucoup de temps sur Vista Intégral. Alors là pour le coup c'est le bide du bide. Ce n'est qu'une couche de maquillage pour habiller XP différemment d'une part avec soi-disant des simplifications qui sont plutôt l'inverse, sans compter que là ce n'est pas la joie du côté des logiciels qui sont sur XP et qu'on ne retrouve pas sur Vista ou alors c'est des compromis qui ne sont pas satisfaisants. Par exemple pour XP on trouve le Mobipocket Reader et le Mobipocket Creator, sur Vista que le Reader...Et Vista plante...comme jamais je n'ai vu XP planter. L'écran bleu de la mort avec Vista faut s'y habituer.
Vista en conclusion c'est une arnaque.
Et Windows 7 ?
Alors là Bill a mis le paquet pour la com. Et il faut croire que cela marche(de mettre le paquet sur la com) ! Que des louanges !
J'ai téléchargé et installé la version RC de W 7, je l'ai testée.
Résultat : une arnaque de plus et comme Vista chère ! Un nouvel OS ? Pas pour moi en tout cas et là encore comme de XP à Vista des modifications qui ne méritent absolument pas le label de nouvel OS. Une couche de cosmétique sur XP et bing on a Vista ; une autre couche sur Vista et bing on a W 7...en fait microsoft aurait pu tout aussi bien intégrer tout cela dans des services pack, évidemment cela n'est pas la même manne financière les services pack et les soi-disant nouveaux OS. A mon avis Bill a regardé Steve et a compris comment se faire encore plus de fric quand on se fait beaucoup beaucoup de fric tant il est vrai que du côté
du pognon c'est dur de se fixer une limite genre se dire bon là c'est bon. On n'en a jamais assez semble être une régle bien répandu. A noter que pour que cela marche il faut de gentils consommateurs, pas de problèmes ils sont là.
Je viens de tester ces derniers jours les OS Mandriva 9 One, open SuSe 11.1 et Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex, je n'ai pas pu tester la Fedora 10 Cambridge également sur le dvd ceci dû à un bug. Le dvd démarre sur un menu qui permet de tester les OS en live c'est à dire sans les installer sur le disque dur.
Je les ai testés(les OS) en live puis installés sur le DD. Alors là chapeau...depuis les 1 iers tests des GNU Linux il y a des années il y a eu des progrès énormes que ce n'est rien de le dire.
Carte graphique reconnue sauf pour open SuSe 11.1 donc belle image bien définie.
Carte wifi reconnue ! Bon d'accord avec Ubuntu et SuSe faut aller bidouiller pour l'activer etc mais bon rien de bien sorcier(puisque
j'y suis arrivé), avec la Mandriva cela se fait tout seul.
La carte son aussi facilement reconnue ce qui n'était pas le cas auparavant.
Ce fut donc une très agréable surprise de voir que ces 3 OS s'installent facilement et pour la Mandriva très vite. Ce n'est aujourd'hui pas plus compliqué que d'installer XP(ou Vista ou W 7).
Donc pourquoi ne pas passer sur un GNU Linux ?
Retour au point de départ : des années sur xp font que j'utilise certains logiciels que je ne trouve pas sur un GNU Linux.
Je recommande néanmoins à toux ceux qui démarrent aujourd'hui ou bien qui ont commencé il y a peu de temps et qui n'ont pas encore découvert tout le monde d'XP qu'il est difficile de lâcher ensuite.

XP comes at a really top development, I do not see why it would not, could not be reliable, not talking about an untold number of free softwares which are available and so make XP a good tool, a very well developed tool.
I had the opportunity to spend much time on Vista Ultimate. Then at that point I must say it's the flop of the flops. It's only about cosmetic changes to XP with so-called simplifications which are quite the opposite, and the sad side of it is that most of the softwares developed for XP are just not there for Vista(and won't as Vista is going down the drain),
or we find some compromises which are not satisfactory. For example for XP there is the Mobipocket Reader and Mobipocket Creator ; on Vista just the Reader ... And Vista crashes ... as I have never seen XP crashing. The Blue Screen of Death with Vista ? You better get used to it.
In conclusion Vista is a scam.
And Windows 7 ?
There Bill gave it all for the PR. And we must believe it works (the full power of the PR)! What praises!
I downloaded and installed the RC version of W 7, I've tested it.
Result: it is just another scam and as Vista expensive ! A new OS ? Not for me in any case, again like XP to Vista changes that do not deserve the label of a new OS. Cosmetic changes on XP and bingo we have Vista, another layer of cosmetic changes on Vista and bingo we have W 7. Microsoft ... in fact could just have as easily integrated all these things in service packs, this is obviously not the same windfall : service packs and the so-called new OS. I think Bill has watched Steve and understood how to make even more money when you already get lots and lots of money, as it is true that as far as dough is concerned it's pretty hard to set a limit, to say : good that's kind of good. Never enough seems to be a common rule. Note that this to work we need friendly consumers, consumers not digging too much and lo ! no problems they are there.
I have tested recently GNU Linux OS : Mandriva 2009 One, open SuSe 11.1 and Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex, I could not test the Fedora 10 Cambridge also on the dvd due to a bug. The dvd starts with a menu that allows to test the OS live ie without installing on the hard disk drive(HDD).
I've tested them live first and then installed on the HDD. Then ... I will take my hat off to them since the first tests years ago the GNU Linux OS show tremendous progress and that is worth saying it.
Th graphic card is recognized except for open SuSe 11.1, so a beautiful image, well defined.
Wifi card recognized! Okay with Ubuntu and Suse we have to fiddle about to activate it etc but nothing really complicated (since
I could do it), with Mandriva it is done by itself.
The sound card also is recognized and I remember it wa&sn't so in the past.
Therefore, it was a very pleasant surprise to see that these 3 OS install easily and Mandriva very fast. It is now no more complicated than installing XP (or Vista or W 7).
So why not switch to a GNU Linux?
Back to square one: because of many years on xp I do use a lot of softwares that I cannot find on a GNU Linux.
Nevertheless, I recommend to all those who start today or who have started a little while ago and have not yet discovered the world of XP which is difficult to let go of then.
