En fait l'autre jour seul Steve est parti. Il était possible que Wan reste mais comme à 16h je n'avais pas eu de nouvelles j'ai alors pensé
qu'après tout Wan était aussi partie. J'avais déjà posté l'article quand Wan a débarqué à l'appart.
Steve et Wan adorent Paris, pour eux c'est vraiment la plus belle ville du monde. De plus c'est un vieux rêve que Wan réalise, veut réaliser : habiter un an à Paris et apprendre le Français. J'aide donc Wan à trouver un cours de Français pour étrangers, remplir les formulaires et à trouver un meublé.
Steve viendra la retrouver de temps à autre. Steve est docteur en retraite et il donne son temps et son savoir faire en partant pour des missions humanitaires. Il a passé pas mal de temps en Afghanistan mais maintenant c'est la Birmanie et la lutte contre le sida qui fait des ravages là-bas. C'est en toute illégalité qu'à chaque fois il entre en Birmanie puisque le gouvernement birman ne veut pas de missions humanitaires. C'est par la Chine qu'à chaque fois il passe en Birmanie.
Steve et Wan sont comme moi sdf, et donc c'est squat sur squat quand ils sont aux US et ici en Europe c'est un mèlange de sqaut de mobile home ou de location de meublé. En Asie c'est régime guest houses sauf en Malaisie où Wan à de la famille(Wan a la double nationalité malaisienne et us).
Hier Wan m'a offert la visite du musée Rodin. Là je me suis aperçu que ce n'était plus ma tasse de thé les trucs comme ça...c'est ainsi.

In fact the other day only Steve had left. It had been in the air that Wan would eventually stay but as I had not heard from them by 4 pm I thought Wan, after all, had gone. I had already posted the article when Wan came to the appartment.
Steve and Wan love Paris, for them it is truly the most beautiful city in the world. In addition, it is an old dream Wan wanted to achieve: a year living in Paris and learn French. Therefore I help to find a course French for foreigners, to complete forms and to find a furnished apartment.
Steve will come from time to time. Steve is a retired doctor and he gives his time and expertise to humanitarian missions. He spent some time in Afghanistan but now he is based in Burma and the fight against AIDS which is wreaking havoc there. He enters Burma illegally since the Burmese government does not want humanitarian missions. It is from China that each time he enters Burma.
Steve and Wan have no home like me, and it is squat after squat when they are in the U.S. and here in Europe is a mixture of squats mobile home or rental appartment. In Asia it is the guest houses except in Malaysia where Wan has got relatives(Wan has dual nationality malaysian and us).

Wan yesterday entertained me with a visit of the Rodin Museum. I realized then that I was not interested anymore in these things. No more my cup of tea. It is thus...
